LaserMicroFab Story
Our Journey
Our founder, now CEO, worked as a laser equipment engineer repairing TRUMPF and AMADA machines. He mastered 0.05mm kerf width and ±5µm tolerance cutting for 0.1mm nitinol alloy in an 80㎡ workshop with a third-hand 2008 laser machine. After 3 weeks of adjustment and 47 samples, we won our first 100-piece order.
We received a large order of 20,000 medical brackets. We hired 3 employees with 3-shift operations and completed the order by manual loading and unloading. This project allowed us to purchase our second laser equipment.
We moved to a 3,000 ㎡ factory with 12 laser machines and entered the semiconductor market. We overcame the key technology of probe card production, learning that excessive laser power causes oxidation of tungsten-copper alloy.
We successfully obtained the ISO 9001 production. The auditor stayed in our factory for 5 days, inspecting every corner and all employee training records. We celebrated together after passing the strict audit.
We operate 46 advanced laser systems including femtosecond and nanosecond lasers, with 60+ professionals in 3 shifts. We serve 18 countries worldwide. Our proudest achievement: 8+ years of partnership with our first client, who has grown from 3 employees to a listed company.

Engineers Who Understand
Your Tolerance Stack
Our technical team is not just machine operators. We have mechanical engineers, materials scientists, and quality specialists who speak the same language as your design engineers. When you send us a drawing with GD&T callouts, we understand what those symbols actually mean for manufacturability.
The core engineering group averages 8 years of experience in precision manufacturing. Our quality team is trained on Keyence automated vision measurement systems with ±10 micron repeatability.
Global Laser Micromachining in China
LaserMicroFab With over 8 years of global leadership in laser micromachining,we provide high-precision solutions boasting a 98.1% production yield, driven by state-of-the-art femtosecond laser technology.
Measurement Is Not
an Afterthought
In micro-scale manufacturing, you cannot inspect quality into a part. It has to be built into the process from the first setup parameter. Our quality system is designed around that reality.
Every production run starts with a first-article inspection report. Every setup is qualified with statistical sampling. Our Keyence automated vision systems measure 5,000 points.

Meet Our Team
Experienced professionals dedicated to delivering world-class laser micromachining solutions
Sheng Li
CEO / Co-founder
Got into the industry back in 2008. Spent 5 years fixing laser equipment — Trumpf, Amada, IPG, you name it. Founded the company in 2017. At first, it was just him doing repairs, tuning parameters, and sales. One guy, three hats.
- Now focuses on major accounts and new market development
- At the factory Tuesday afternoons. Rest of the time? On the road visiting customers — 8 flights last month
- Currently reading: 'Lean Production' (Third time. Still learning something new)
- Hobby: Fishing. Usually comes back empty-handed.
Kevin
CTO / Laser Process Expert
Master's in Optical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Joined in 2017. Leads all new process development. Cracked the nitinol cutting process — took 8 months of trial and error.
- Keeps a 1998 vintage laser in the lab
- Says 'Today's equipment is too smart. Hard to understand the principles. This old machine teaches new hires the real stuff.'
- Toughest project: AR waveguide last year. ±0.3µm precision. Took 4 rounds of samples to pass.
- Weekends: Also fishes. Mainly at Songshan Lake. Catches more than Li.
Zhen Li
Quality Director
8 years in quality at major medical device companies before we recruited her in 2019 to build our quality system from the ground up.
- Her office wall is covered with customer audit feedback forms — red (issues) and green (passed), about 50/50
- She says 'Red ones are learning opportunities. More valuable than green.'
- Strictest audit: Major US medical device company. Stayed 7 days, raised 47 issues. Took 3 months to close all of them.
- Now they're our second largest customer.
Jack
Production Supervisor
Easiest guy to find in the workshop. There at 7 AM every day, before the time clock. Joined in 2016 as a machine operator. Now manages 3 shifts totaling 40+ people.
- Knows every machine's temperament. Can tell which machine made a part and roughly when — just by looking at it. About 80% accuracy.
- Company gave him an award last year: 5 consecutive years, zero safety incidents
- His secret: 'Nothing fancy. Just don't cut corners. Checklist every item.'
Healer
Sales Director
Joined in 2018 with a background in technical sales for semiconductor equipment. Built our US customer pipeline from scratch. Now manages key accounts across North America and Europe.
- Fluent in English, Mandarin, and 'translating engineer-speak to customer-speak'
- Once flew to Boston and back in 36 hours to resolve a delivery issue. Customer never knew there was a problem.
- Her CRM has 2,400 contacts. She remembers something personal about each one.
- Hobby: Marathon running. 'Sales is a endurance sport. You just keep showing up.'
Alina
R&D Engineer
PhD in Materials Science from MIT. Joined in 2020. Focuses on next-gen laser applications — medical implants, microelectronics, aerospace components. The guy who asks 'what if?' and then figures it out.
- Holds 12 patents. Says 'Ideas are cheap. Making them work is the fun part.'
- Built a prototype system in his garage during COVID lockdown. Now it's a production line.
- Keeps a whiteboard in his office labeled 'Crazy Ideas.' It's never empty.
- Weekends: Rock climbing. 'It's all about problem-solving under pressure. Same as the lab.'
