Stator Silicon Steel Laminations for NEV Motors
What We Made
This precision-cut silicon steel lamination is a stator component for a new-energy-vehicle permanent-magnet motor. Its outer profile, center opening, internal slots, and locating features need to match the drawing so the lamination can fit consistently within the motor stack.
The Technical Challenge
The customer specified ±0.02 mm cutting precision on the critical geometry. On a thin electrical-steel lamination, small deviations at the profile or locating features can complicate stacking, fixture alignment, and downstream assembly. The cutting process also needs to protect the finished edge from unnecessary deformation.
How We Supported the Build
We use the released CAD profile to program the cut path directly, allowing the critical contours and internal features to be made without a dedicated stamping tool. The processing sequence is planned around the part geometry and material condition, then the completed laminations are reviewed against the drawing requirements before production is repeated.
